The event in retrospect: DSC INSIGHTS & CONNECTIONS 2024
After a five-year break, the DSC user meeting took place again on October 9 and 10, 2024, now under the name DSC INSIGHTS & CONNECTIONS, in the stunning setting of the Fassfabrik in Schwäbisch Hall. Under the motto “World of mountains”, many participants from product development, IT, and manufacturing came together in order to talk about the latest developments of Integrative Product Lifecycle Management with SAP solutions.
Just like any mountaineer has to be strong-willed and resilient to reach the summit, manufacturing companies need resilient and flexible solutions. The presentations and discussions focused on how SAP solutions contribute to an effective and robust product lifecycle management that helps companies reach their goals even in turbulent times.
From the beginning, DSC INSIGHTS & CONNECTIONS 2024 has been coined by exceptional dynamics and pioneering spirit. It was almost palpable how the participants were more than ready to actively face the new challenges of digitalization and approach the future of PLM enthusiastically. The event offered a diverse program that left nothing to be desired. Inspiring keynotes, like the ones given by Dominik Maier, DSC, and extreme mountaineer Robert Jasper, provided powerful impulses and motivation to break new ground and to not shy away even from great challenges. Both reference customers and the strong partner network took part actively in the creation of the agenda, which only enriched the event.
The participants experienced directly how the SAP solutions – be it on-premise, in the cloud, or as hybrid scenarios – open up numerous ways for successfully mastering the digitalization of the product lifecycle.
On both days, the interactive sessions were used with great interest to exchange experiences, learn from each other, and gain invaluable insights.
The close and trusting exchange between customers, partners, and DSC was the common thread of the entire event. Every discussion demonstrated how valuable this close collaboration is in order to face the challenges of digitalization together.
DSC’s announcement that another edition of this inspiring event is planned in two years’ time was met with excitement by the participants. The positive feedback and the enthusiasm during the event show the importance of exchanging ideas and finding solutions together.
